Garden City Beaches In Myrtle Beach
August 20, 2011 Categories: Gardening
Garden City Beach is South of Southside Beach and Northeast of Murrells Inlet. It extends from the tip of Surfside Beach in Horry County, all the way to the G.C. Point which is in George Town County and East of Murrells Inlet. Each year many families pass along the sandy beaches of Garden City. Garden City provides some of the most exceptional surfing, fishing, and crabbing along the Grand Strand.
Common area attractions are “Sam’s Corner” which is crossways the street from the “Garden City Pier.” Lets not forget about the “Village Surf Shop” and the “Marlin Quay Marina” which is near the Garden City Point. You can also do some shopping or watch a motion picture at the “Inlet Square Mall.”
Homes along G.C. Beaches come in copious shapes, forms and particularly in price ranges. Oceanfront homes that are a few blocks back are used generally as rental properties, with few owners establishing primary residences or second homes. It is apparent if you drive a mile or so South of the Kingfisher Pier, that G.C. is actually located in both Horry and Georgetown Counties. The Southern tip of Garden City has been reconstructed more beautiful than ever, due to Hurricane Hugo in 1989. Not all parts of G.C. are exorbitant and ostentatious. You can buy homes from 0-300K, if you go four blocks and further back. There are also manufactured homes on their own land, or you can sign a lot lease if you like. Overall, there is something for everyone at the Garden City Beach location.
